GRAPES
100% Sangiovese.
13.5% Alc/vol.
FIELD NOTES
Harvested super late in 2021, these grapes were by far the last harvest of the year. Wild fermented on full skins in stainless steel vat for 10 days, then transferred to old 300L barrels for malolactic fermentation. Matured in the same barrels on lees for 10 months before bringing together for bottling. Unfined/unfiltered and low sulphur.
DRINK NOW?
This is made to drink now (can be served lightly chilled), but if you can, store a few bottles in a cool, dark spot for a little while. Over time, this wine will evolve into something more mature and plump. You won't regret holding onto some.
TASTES
Light to medium and slightly broody with lots of deep rhubarb, red cherry and mulberry. Nestled between the dark and the bright; the first crack of dawn reaching out from the horizon.
PERSONA
A pensive and wise companion for all; young at heart, traditional in spirit.

Returns & Replacements
Your satisfaction is important to us, if you have a concern about the quality of your product please use the Contact Us page to email us with the batch number, expiry date and product name from the barcode label and the reason you are dissatisfied.
Any returns due to quality issues must be contact us within 2 weeks of receiving your order.
Unfortunately we do not accept product returns if you have changed your mind or don't like the scent.
